Dayna Bandman, LCSW
Stepping into therapy requires immense trust. I consider it a profound privilege to guide clients through moments of vulnerability, growth, and life transition.
I’m Dayna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified psychoanalyst, and certified psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
While my framework is anchored in traditional psychodynamic and psychoanalytic principles, I also rely on contemporary, evidence-based practices. True transformation happens at the intersection of insight and action. By understanding the origins of your core emotional patterns, we can consciously reshape how you navigate relationships and everyday life today.
Ongoing Learning
My clinical work is shaped by an ongoing commitment to the field. As a faculty member at the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey (CPPNJ), I teach emerging therapists, which keeps me close to new ideas and different ways of thinking about the work. I also stay engaged through coursework, reading groups, conferences, and regular peer supervision, so that what I bring to each client reflects current thinking, not just past training.
